Faith-Based Support

FIGHT! 164 exists to empower first responders and their families by providing aid and access to opportunity for spiritual, mental and physical growth.
​
We will foster a network of first responders who are spiritually grounded, mentally strong, and physically prepared to protect our communities.
Facilitate and Fund First Responders and Families
What We Do:
FIGHT! 164 facilitates and aids with access to services that allow the individual to grow spiritually, mentally, and physically.
Why We Do It:

God calls us to be the best version of ourselves. In life we experience highs and lows, peaks and valleys. Life can be a sprint, climb, walk, descent or sometimes a crawl through mud, muck and ruts. First responders face increased levels of stress, trauma, and physical demands inherent to what it takes to protect our communities.

FIGHT! 164 supports first responders by providing support, access and financial aid for spiritual, mental, and physical improvement services.
How We Operate:

FIGHT! 164 operates by providing access and support to first responder optimization services via a network of certified professionals and volunteers. Services are delivered through in-person sessions, online platforms, and community events.
First responders apply for support via online platforms. All applications are reviewed and plans for funding and facilitating are set in motion. All funding and facilitation is completely anonymous should the applicant desire. No names, positions, departments, tenure will ever be shared publicly.
The organization maintains a central office for coordination and administration, and seeks out partnerships with local wellness centers, mental health professionals, physical fitness programs and coaches, holistic treatment facilities and Christian churches.
Who we Support:
We support all First Responders, with a focus on Firefighters. We recognize that First Responders do not serve alone. All services offered by FIGHT! 164 are also available to the family of first responders.

Spiritual
Assistance, introduction, and associated fees for a variety of spiritual partnerships, programs, conferences, gatherings, retreats or initiatives​

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast -Ephesians 2: 8-9
Mental Health
Assistance, introduction, scheduling and associated fees for mental health resources, including but not limited to mental health professionals, motivational speakers, conferences, retreats​
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus – Philippians 4:6-7
Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will -Romans 12:2
Physical Fitness
Assistance, introduction, scheduling and associated fees for physical fitness services; services can include but are not limited to yoga, pilates, fitness trainers, fitness programs, meal plans, fitness endeavors.
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So, I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified- 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Breathwork
Assistance, introduction, and associated fees for a variety of breathwork and similar somatic processes
​The Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature – Genesis 2:7​
As long as my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils, my lips will not speak falsehood, and my tongue will not utter deceit – Job 27: 3-4
Substance Support
Assistance, introduction, scheduling and associated fees for substance support; abuse can come in varying levels and from many substances, we are here to support those “in a rut”, full addiction, or somewhere in between
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body – 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20
Leadership and Growth
Assistance, introduction, scheduling and associated fees for a variety personal growth and development; including but not limited to higher education courses, conferences, seminars, trainings, retreats
Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock – 1 Peter 5: 2-3
Holistic, Complementary/Alternative Services
Family
Assistance, introduction, scheduling and associated fees for holistic health services aiding in optimization; these services, such as ibogaine therapy, therapeutic massage, acupuncture and many other services, can aid in personal growth, optimization, navigation of grief/trauma/depression/addiction, or alignment.
And they cast out many demons and anointed with oil many who were sick and healed them—Mark 6:13

First Responders do not protect our communities alone, it is a familial partnership. We provide assistance, introduction, scheduling and associated fees for a variety of familial needs; these can include but are not limited to unexpected bills, family retreats/vacations/getaways, date night, baby sitting, sports fees, other extracurricular fees, scholarships and any of the other services offered by Fight! 164

But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith - 1 Timothy 5:8

Our Guiding Purpose
We do this in Honor of Driver Jared Rhodes, Badge 164, of the Sand Springs Fire Department and all those that protect our communities.
Our Communities, Our Protectors
Fight! 164 believes that we are called to optimize ourselves for the Glory of God while fighting against the spiritual darkness in this world. First responders protect our communities in the wake of much spiritual and physical darkness, and we are here to support them:

But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord. Jeremiah 30: 17

Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. Therefore, put on the armor of God, so that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground. So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
